From Wanaka, Queenstown, Dunedin and Christchurch – Glen Dene Station is 4.5km from the dam at Lake Hawea (15 minutes from Wanaka) on State Highway 6. The nearest airports are Queenstown (1h15min drive) and Wanaka (20min drive). Wanaka Airport has a connecting service to Queenstown and Christchurch.

From Haast and the West Coast – Glen Dene Station is 20km from The Neck on State Highway 6.

Glen Dene is on the lakeside of the road and is sign-posted. Turn right at the top of the drive to the farmstay.
